i'm so glad you wrote about this and thank you for sharing it! I'm going through some hard times with my own father and it's really helpful to have support in this!
What an incredible story! So grateful for divine miracles. We have witnessed a few of our own - my daughter should be paralyzed and isn’t. There are so many times with this is not the outcome - so grateful it was yours today!
Thank you so much Tarek! We are too! She actually brought it up today (she is "in remission" right now - we are praying it remains that way) and she still experiences a great deal of numbness where the cyst reforms and crushes her spinal cord. I told her how sorry I was that she is still unable to feel that section of her body and she responded "It's really OK, Mom - it's way better than being paralyzed" She is SOOO incredibly brave! And we are so all so grateful for God's goodness and mercy (even when the outcomes are not what we would have desired).
I teared up reading this because I know the days we have with our parents are precious and few though every day is a gift for any of us. I am so happy he recovered and hope he is continuing to improve! God is so good.
Tarek, miracles do happen and I absolutely have you all in my thoughts and prayers. May his tragedy turned miracle lead him to one day be a blessing to others because of his strength through this journey.
Tarek, my eyes flooded with tears as I looked at that photograph of you and your dad! What a beautiful miracle it is! Merry Christmas! Merry, Merry Christ's Mass.

Yes!
We’re very fortunate that we are not required to know God or believe in Him. Our Creator knows each of us and loves each of us.

Thanks for sharing. I’m glad your dad made it through. None of us really know if we have more than a day left.
We live like we do, but you never know.
