Our true responsibility has to be our impact on others, full stop.

Ben that’s the responsibility of a leader. You are right.

Thank you, Tarek. I’ve been thinking about my own “legacy”. It’s a big part of why I write. I want to get my memories out of my head and placed somewhere they can be found.

That's wonderful. Think about people from your family or people you may never meet who will be impacted by what you write down in a book. That's what I'm focused on now: writing my book.

T - this is off tangent (maybe), yet reflecting on what y wrote on past post, and it just became real. I have an ironing board stacked with papers (to dos for me), bills stacked on computer desk (organize, move forward), study material on dining room table (dream), more notes on shoe rack (more hope). The to do's for me is where my heart lives, carrying my hopes and dreams. I literally carry notes forward to another space, rewrite, make lists, etc. The epiphany is I habitually set aside the what, "for me."

That doesn't sound off tangent. I love to-do lists and goals as well. The big idea here is to live for things that will outlast your time here on earth: the things of significance. That was really the message I was trying to get across. I hope some of that resonated with you. I get the love for to-dos; I love them as well. In fact, I just checked off a couple of things, and it felt great.
