Great article. Covid was an interesting time for our marriage. Previously Jeff had traveled more than 40 weeks out of every year we had been married. A few months into Covid, he realized we had slept in the same bed more consecutive nights than any other time in our marriage. He kissed at me and said, "I love being home and I love spending this much time with you."
Things shifted after that. While sadly many of his work friend were getting divorced, because they found they couldn't navigate that much time together, we began having conversations around how we could be more intentional with our work so we could continue to spend this much time together. 💗
Thank you Tarek. As a blended family, we have definitely been through the hard stuff and made it to the other side. His travel often exasperated things.
We are exceedingly blessed to have the marriage we have today.
It’s interesting even for us singletons! You’re just setting us up for success early.
Yes! Clear communication is the key. And I need to follow my own advice!
i still love you “after all these years” 🤣❤️

I love your story and you are a role model for couples who do it right by working through the hard stuff instead of bailing out.
